Description

  • Lead, train, coach, and manage new and established BDRs in a fast-changing environment.
  • Manage the day-to-day leads, activities, and tasks for the BDR team.
  • Own the BDR pipeline generation process and help drive approximately 20% of HubSpot’s new business.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to execute the inbound sales process and improve alignment between teams.
  • Forecast and track SLAs for prospect response and engagement.
  • Optimize pipeline generation methods and improve the prospect experience.
  • Recruit, select, and train new BDR talent as needed to maintain team headcount.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and provide developmental feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop sales skill-building strategy and promotional path planning for the BDR program.
  • Use dashboards, reports, scorecards, and surveys to measure team performance and program effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of quota-carrying experience; previous management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high-volume prospecting role comparable to HubSpot’s BDR position.
  • Experience coaching, leading, and running a consultative sales process.
  • Strong coaching skills related to sales opportunities and team development.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify team, sales, and program trends and results.
  • Experience with sales training and coaching methodologies.
  • Experience with inbound marketing methodologies.
  • Ability to understand technology conceptually and explain technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to build relationships and command credibility with internal stakeholders.
