Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver affordable, high-speed autonomous undersea vehicles to commercial and defense customers.
  • Shape hardware product roadmaps and lead capture campaigns to secure contracts and deliver undersea capability.
  • Generate, identify, pursue, and shape new business opportunities across the undersea reconnaissance and strike portfolio.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage continuous engagement with current and prospective customers and monitor buying cycles for opportunities.
  • Support proposals and new customer efforts, including writing and reviewing responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFWPs, and related requests.
  • Partner with adjacent business lines and product engineers to grow existing business and expand customer relationships.
  • Communicate Anduril’s value proposition and competitive differentiation to clients, partners, and the public.
  • Translate customer problems into actionable internal plans and product roadmaps in partnership with engineering.
  • Inform priorities, execution, and milestone alignment between customers, growth teams, and business line stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in commercial or DoD capture and sales with a track record of building and winning business capture strategies, especially with the U.S. Navy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of defense acquisitions, with zero-to-one defense program growth experience preferred.
  • Experience with the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of underwater vehicles, torpedoes, and high-speed systems.
  • Strong leadership, ownership, and management skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including experience briefing senior executives and customers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant DoD, IC, and commercial programs, platforms, payloads, enabling technologies, systems integration, and software development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, physics, robotics, or computer science.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance, with the ability to maintain it.
  • Expertise in Undersea Warfare, Distributed Maritime Operations, or complex engineering systems preferred.
  • Experience with government business development, government contract structures, and proposal processes preferred.
  • Prior military, contracting, DoD, or government experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel 20-50%, including internationally, preferred.
  • Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science preferred.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance preferred.
