Description

  • Own end-to-end payroll processing for India and global teams, including inputs, execution, compliance, and reporting.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and statutory compliance across multiple geographies.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including insurance, reimbursements, and vendor coordination.
  • Support day-to-day people operations workflows such as onboarding, documentation, and employee query handling.
  • Coordinate employee lifecycle touchpoints to ensure a smooth experience from joining through ongoing support.
  • Work across teams to resolve payroll, benefits, and people operations issues through to closure.
  • Monitor timelines and operational details across geographies to keep processes running reliably.
  • Improve and automate HR/payroll processes using data, systems, and tools.
  • Handle compliance requirements related to India labor laws and international payroll operations.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience managing India payroll end-to-end.
  • Experience with statutory compliance requirements such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
  • Some exposure to global payroll, EOR platforms, or international teams.
  • Experience managing or coordinating employee benefits such as insurance, reimbursements, and vendor coordination.
  • Good understanding of India’s labor laws and compliance requirements across geographies.
  • Experience handling people operations workflows such as onboarding, documentation, and employee queries.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage timelines across multiple geographies.
  • Comfort working with HR/payroll tools, data, and systems.
  • A mindset to improve and automate processes.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-changing environment.
  • Bonus: prior experience working with global teams.
