Description

  • Drive commercial success and market expansion in China as part of the APAC Business Team.
  • Launch new cities by identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding new supply partners and distribution-side partners in China.
  • Nurture relationships with existing supply partners to create additional growth opportunities.
  • Liaise between internal teams such as Operations, Tech, and Marketing and external accounts to ensure smooth partnership execution and booking growth.
  • Analyze market trends and provide market and competitor analysis to improve business strategy.
  • Represent Headout as the face and voice of the company in China.
  • Expand Headout’s offerings by collaborating with travel experience providers and supply partners.
  • Support both high-level strategy and operational execution to scale the business in the market.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in consumer tech startups.
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • A global mindset and comfort working across different cultures and time zones.
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial startup attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Experience working with a CRM and eagerness to learn and use new tools.
  • Candidates may be based in Shanghai.
  • Experience scaling a sales or business development function in a startup is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and stay focused in fast-changing environments is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the market pulse is a plus.
