Description

  • Conduct extensive market research to identify and prioritize new B2B prospects and accounts.
  • Initiate outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to establish first contact with potential customers.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery calls to assess fit and readiness for the sales process.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and the sales team to design and execute targeted BDR campaigns (messages, calls, emails) to schedule qualified appointments.
  • Optimize and iterate on call scripts, email pitches, and outreach sequences to improve lead generation and conversion.
  • Serve as a product expert and brand ambassador, exploring client needs and matching them to appropriate HTB products and services.
  • Use CRM and sales stack tools (HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) to manage outreach, track activity, and maintain pipeline hygiene.
  • Meet outreach and appointment-setting targets and contribute directly to regional revenue growth as the first point of contact for new customers.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in sales with a clear sales career orientation (senior/BDR level).
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, highly organized, and comfortable making first contact with strangers.
  • Enthusiasm for calling, adaptability to different prospect types, and a positive, resilient attitude.
  • Hands-on experience with sales methodologies such as Solution Selling, SPICED, MEDDIC, Challenger, or similar.
  • Experience with CRM and email automation tools; familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
  • Ability to work US East Coast / Central US hours; role is fully remote within the US.
  • Non-exempt role: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (overtime eligible; additional hours require prior approval); candidate must be eligible to work in the US (Hack The Box participates in E-Verify).
