Description

  • Proactively network, cold call, and sell to multiple contacts within client organizations, including executive-level decision makers.
  • Manage and develop customer relationships using a consultative sales approach.
  • Consistently meet sales and profitability goals.
  • Position, configure, and quote product and service solutions for clients.
  • Manage leads and opportunities in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
  • Accurately report sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
  • Participate in the creation, editing, and closure of service proposals.
  • Work with security vendors to understand and present their technologies and value propositions to clients.
  • Participate in field marketing activities and events to generate interest among prospects.
  • Deliver sales presentations to large groups and executive audiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience in the IT space, with preference for Information Security experience.
  • Current experience in the enterprise security space preferred.
  • Strong, established relationships with key accounts in the territory required.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com required.
  • Strong group presentation skills required.
  • Verifiable history of exceeding sales goals and generating leads.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and open new accounts.
  • Experience selling professional services, security audits, and assessments is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Network security vendor-related certifications strongly preferred.
