Description

  • Partner with the Key Account Leader and broader sales team to drive complex public safety engagements.
  • Sell Axon Air products and offerings to domestic law enforcement agencies within the assigned territory.
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products and related technology offerings.
  • Generate leads and pursue opportunities using Google alerts, RFP requests, and other sources.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and contact networks within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies and value propositions with cross-functional partners.
  • Manage forecasting, account updates, competitor intelligence, and feedback to marketing.
  • Track customer activity in Salesforce and other internal systems to identify and pursue additional opportunities.
  • Serve as a functional expert on the Air program and support teammates in closing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Highly proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory, including overnights.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology.
  • Experience across the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Ability to strategically win new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Startup experience and some vertical experience are preferred.
  • Must live within 1 hour of a major airport and be remote within territory.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
