Description

  • Map current-state workflows across SOX, Internal Audit, and Enterprise Risk Management functions.
  • Identify manual effort and inefficiencies and lead process improvements to eliminate them.
  • Develop automation, CI/CD-enabled repositories, pipelines, and repeatable testing frameworks for continuous compliance operations.
  • Build Power BI dashboards and analytics pipelines in Python and SQL to provide real-time risk visibility.
  • Configure Jira workflows, automation rules, webhooks, and intake forms to standardize compliance work.
  • Translate control objectives into automated tests and monitoring rules for compliance-as-code.
  • Use GenAI to automate evidence summarization, narrative drafting, control testing, and anomaly detection with appropriate guardrails.
  • Collaborate with SOX, IA, ERM, and technology teams to deliver scalable and auditable solutions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in process improvement, automation, and analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX/M, and operational dashboards.
  • Hands-on Jira configuration experience, including automation rules, workflows, webhooks, and structured intake forms.
  • Proficiency with Python and SQL for data wrangling, automation, and analytical scripting.
  • Familiarity with internal audit, external audit, or compliance.
  • Experience working with technology teams to improve audit, risk, or compliance processes.
  • Ability to map broken processes, diagnose root causes, and deliver measurable improvements.
  • Practical experience using GenAI with prompt writing, output evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Big 4 or public accounting background in technology risk, IT audit, or advisory (preferred).
  • CPA, CISA, CIA, or analytics certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, computer science, engineering, information systems, data/analytics, or a related field (preferred).
  • SOX, IA, ERM, or GRC proficiency, including control testing, audit sampling, and frameworks like COSO or COBIT (preferred).
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Workday, AWS Jira, ServiceNow, QuickSight, SailPoint, or SharePoint (preferred).
