Description

  • Oversee and grow a portfolio of key client relationships within the Enterprise Financial Services business unit.
  • Drive commercial and account management best practices across assigned accounts.
  • Partner with service team leads to develop client-specific service strategies.
  • Renew annual subscriptions and negotiate new agreements across GLG’s services.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts and new buying centers.
  • Build account plans, set growth objectives, and coordinate client service teams to achieve them.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, legal, service, research, finance, and technology to solve complex client issues.
  • Present GLG’s platform to senior decision makers and deepen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Track and map client accounts using GLG’s CRM tools.
  • Represent GLG’s mission, vision, strategy, and core values in client and internal interactions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or consultative B2B sales within the Australian market.
  • Proven track record of driving new business acquisition in a B2B environment across Australia.
  • Experience managing and growing subscription-based client relationships.
  • Strong consultative sales approach.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on sales performance, revenue growth, and business profitability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Preferred but not essential: experience engaging and building relationships with senior executives within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key decision makers and solve client problems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, client service-oriented environment.
  • Experience leading teams and collaborating across functions in a metrics-driven, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills and persuasive ability on complex issues.
  • High integrity and professionalism.
  • Understanding of private equity, financial services, or corporate clients.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a top-tier undergraduate institution (preferred).
