Description

  • Lead the regional sales strategy and execution for France to grow GitLab’s business and meet quarterly bookings and ARR targets.
  • Build, manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives.
  • Drive new logo acquisition across medium-sized businesses and expand larger strategic accounts.
  • Establish disciplined pipeline management, sales operating rhythms, and repeatable sales processes.
  • Partner with marketing, business development, and local networks to generate qualified pipeline and increase brand awareness in France.
  • Collaborate with account management, customer success, marketing, product, engineering, and operations to ensure aligned coverage and consistent execution.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships to support expansion and renewal opportunities.
  • Analyze pipeline, forecast, and performance data to identify gaps, adjust plans, and improve regional performance.
  • Represent the regional business internally with insights on market trends and customer needs.
  • Help shape GitLab’s go-to-market motion and sales coverage model in the French region.

Requirements

  • Experience building and leading high-performing sales teams in a regional or multi-country context.
  • Ability to design and execute a regional go-to-market plan with pipeline generation discipline and structured deal execution.
  • Familiarity with B2B software or technology sales and concepts related to open source and DevSecOps.
  • Experience using MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology.
  • Strong ability to develop trusted relationships with senior and executive-level customer stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, growth-focused, all-remote environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM and marketing tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to apply transferable leadership and sales experience from related markets or industries.
  • Interest in deepening knowledge of GitLab’s platform and the French market.
