Description

  • Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, employee lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure a compliant employee experience.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including sensitive calls or meetings and legally sound documentation.
  • Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client questions on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Provide in-country guidance on Italian labor laws, cultural nuances, employment contracts, and risk mitigation.
  • Support clients through performance improvement plans and salary change processes.
  • Act as the single point of contact for immigration and mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
  • Document processes, identify delegable tasks, and support workload transitions and knowledge transfer.
  • Drive automation and AI adoption to improve HR processes and efficiency.
  • Lead efforts to standardize and continuously improve HR practices globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required; additional languages are a bonus.
  • Deep expertise in Italian labor laws and strong working knowledge of employment regulations across Southern Europe.
  • Deep expertise with Staff Leasing and Tertiary NCBA.
  • Experience supporting complex employee relations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Knowledge of the Employer of Record (EOR) industry is preferred.
  • Experience working across other Southern European countries, including Greece, is preferred.
