Description

  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients and provide legal, human resources, and advisory support.
  • Partner closely with Operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration and high-quality client outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of Employee Lifecycle Specialists through coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance.
  • Oversee voluntary and involuntary terminations across multiple countries, including complex and sensitive cases.
  • Support the team in delivering first-level employee relations support to clients.
  • Personally manage and advise on complex employee lifecycle and employee relations cases.
  • Champion a client-centric approach and continuously improve quality, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Help sustain and expand compliance coverage while improving customer experiences and operational capacity.

Requirements

  • Experience in Human Resources, Operations, and/or Employee Relations roles, with experience as a people manager.
  • Advanced expertise across HR areas such as business partnering, employee relations, performance management, and local employment laws.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of global HR practices, employment laws, and regulations across multiple countries.
  • Experience handling complex involuntary employee exits and employee relations matters.
  • Understanding of progressive discipline processes and workplace investigation principles.
  • Strong communication, influencing, relationship-building, and leadership skills in a culturally diverse, distributed team.
  • Excellent verbal, analytical, and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
  • High discretion, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Agile, resilient, customer-centred approach with comfort working in ambiguity.
  • Cultural awareness and experience leading a culturally diverse team.
  • Experience in a startup environment is highly desirable.
  • Tertiary degree in HR, labour relations, or employment law is preferred.
  • Ability to work largely asynchronously is expected.
