Description

  • Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, employee lifecycle events, and terminations to ensure a smooth and compliant employee experience.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and terminations, including attending calls or meetings and drafting legally sound documentation.
  • Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client questions on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Provide in-country HR guidance based on labor laws and cultural nuances in Italy and broader European regulations.
  • Review employment contracts and advise on risk mitigation.
  • Support clients with performance improvement plans and timely salary changes.
  • Act as the single point of contact for immigration and mobility needs in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
  • Document processes, identify delegable tasks, and support workload transitions and knowledge transfer.
  • Drive automation, AI adoption, and global process improvements to standardize HR practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Fluency in English and Dutch.
  • Deep expertise in Benelux labor laws and strong working knowledge of employment regulations across Europe.
  • Experience supporting complex employee relations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy experience with HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Knowledge of the Employer of Record (EoR) industry, preferred.
  • Basic understanding of French, preferred.
