Description

  • Manage complex end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions with minimal supervision.
  • Provide guidance on terminations, resignations, transfers, employment contracts, and redundancy processes while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Lead client and employee meetings, including workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, negotiations, and termination conversations.
  • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex separations involving multiple stakeholders with competing interests.
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties such as Legal, Payroll, government bodies, and trade unions to support compliant offboarding and audits.
  • Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents with accuracy while maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy standards.
  • Process offboarding in the internal HRIS and collaborate with teams such as Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance.
  • Provide first-level employee relations support by assessing workplace concerns, identifying applicable regulations, and guiding next steps.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for offboarding and employee relations queries and mentor more junior team members.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, automation, product development, and customer/employee experience enhancements within the lifecycle function.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with broad generalist HR exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary exits with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR advice across employment laws and regulations in EMEA, APAC, and AMER.
  • Strong understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Legal, Payroll, and Time and Attendance teams.
  • Ability to interpret industrial instruments, analyze complex HR issues, and translate research into practical solutions in ambiguous environments.
  • Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Tech proficiency with Notion, Slack, GSuite, and Zendesk.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, asynchronous, remote, international environment and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable, with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or paralegal studies are considered a plus.
