Description

  • Act as the primary HR contact for onboarding, employee lifecycle events, and terminations.
  • Manage sensitive employee relations cases and draft legally sound documentation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client questions on benefits, payroll, compliance, and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance on labor laws, cultural nuances, and in-country HR practices in Italy.
  • Review employment contracts and advise on risk mitigation.
  • Support clients with Performance Improvement Plans and salary changes.
  • Act as the point of contact for employee immigration and mobility matters in collaboration with the Global Mobility team.
  • Document processes, identify tasks for delegation, and support smooth workload transitions.
  • Drive HR process optimization through automation and AI adoption.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and improve HR practices globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience; experience in the EOR industry is desirable.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, with a basic understanding of French; additional languages are a plus.
  • Deep expertise in Benelux labor laws and strong working knowledge of broader European employment regulations.
  • Experience supporting complex employee relations cases.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using HRIS, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Experience reviewing employment contracts and advising on employment-law risk is required.
  • Experience handling immigration or mobility-related employee matters is preferred.
