Description

  • Develop and deploy ML solutions across different business areas using tabular data, including uplift models and recommender systems.
  • Select the most appropriate ML or LLM approach for each problem, or propose non-ML alternatives when needed.
  • Build end-to-end ML systems, including data preparation, model training, API development, and monitoring.
  • Design LLM-powered features such as classifiers, content generation tools, AI assistants, and chatbots.
  • Own the full LLM lifecycle, including golden datasets, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and response evaluation.
  • Collaborate with internal product teams to solve product problems and support multiple business use cases.
  • Work with production data pipelines and datasets in ClickHouse and MongoDB.
  • Monitor and improve deployed models and services using MLOps and observability tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of ML/DS experience solving real product problems.
  • Strong expertise in machine learning and mathematical statistics, including classical algorithms such as gradient boosting and modern NLP/LLM approaches.
  • Ability to connect ML metrics such as ROC-AUC, F1, and RMSE with business metrics such as CR and LTV.
  • Strong Python engineering skills with a product-oriented mindset, clean code habits, and knowledge of design patterns and engineering best practices.
  • Advanced SQL skills and the ability to independently build complex datasets in ClickHouse and work with MongoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with experiment tracking tools and production workflows, including Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems, choose the right tech stack, and deliver solutions to production.
  • Strong English communication skills at B2 level; the team primarily communicates in Russian.
  • Experience with RL is a plus.
  • Experience with LLM-based solutions such as generation, classification, agents, RAG, or prompt engineering is a plus.
  • Familiarity with FastAPI, Pydantic, pandas, Polars, Redis, MLflow, Airflow, Grafana, and Sentry is a plus.
