Description

  • Write clean, testable, and efficient Python code for core AI products and automated search-and-apply tools.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate machine learning models, LLM pipelines, and agentic frameworks into production.
  • Build and maintain scalable APIs and data workflows to process large volumes of job vacancy data.
  • Help manage and optimize AWS infrastructure to support high availability and smooth deployments.
  • Write unit and integration tests to improve reliability and reduce deployment risk.
  • Develop user-facing web components as part of the full stack.
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Senior Engineers in a cross-functional team.
  • Support the transition of machine learning prototypes into robust, production-ready applications.
  • Contribute to backend services and overall application architecture.
  • Use Git and related development workflows to support delivery in a live environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of commercial software development experience using Python.
  • Must be located within 2 hours of the London timezone and able to work standard UK business hours.
  • Must have the legal right to work remotely as an independent contractor in the country of residence; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Professional proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • A technical degree (2:1 or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly relevant field.
  • Solid understanding of Python fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
  • Demonstrated experience writing clean, maintainable Python code for live, user-facing environments.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and Git version control.
  • A curious, proactive, fast-learning mindset with interest in AI/ML.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS (Tailwind), and React to support full-stack UI work (nice to have).
  • Experience integrating LLMs into production applications and using LLM coding tools in daily work (nice to have).
  • Understanding of web scraping, DOM parsing, bot-detection bypassing, and browser automation/testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium (nice to have).
  • An active GitHub profile or personal project portfolio (nice to have).
