Description

  • Lead and shape complex initiatives within the PMO’s domain from framing through delivery.
  • Own multi-departmental initiatives spanning Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology.
  • Translate strategic priorities into structured plans with clear scope, owners, timelines, and definitions of done.
  • Run initiative operating cadences including working sessions, status reporting, risk tracking, and decision logs.
  • Resolve conflicts, rebalance resources, and keep critical deadlines on track in ambiguous or high-pressure situations.
  • Build the analysis and business logic behind recommendations, including unit economics, portfolio performance, and operational trade-offs.
  • Brief executives clearly on progress, risks, and decisions needed.
  • Influence stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Compliance to drive alignment without relying on authority.
  • Partner with Finance on assumptions, forecasts, and the financial framing of initiatives.
  • Adopt, improve, and strengthen the PMO’s cadences, templates, and reporting practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategic finance, business transformation, credit strategy, operations strategy, management consulting, chief of staff, investment banking, PE, or a related strategic role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale, cross-functional projects in complex environments.
  • Experience introducing structure to teams that have historically operated without formal frameworks.
  • Change-management instincts to implement structure without creating resistance.
  • Preferred: experience in auto lending or consumer lending, with familiarity across originations, credit, and servicing.
  • Strong execution instincts with clear owners, timelines, and definitions of done.
  • Sharp analytical skills with comfort in spreadsheets and operational and financial data.
  • Familiarity with BI tools, SQL, or financial modeling is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief executives under pressure and translate complexity into decision-oriented updates.
  • Technical fluency to hold productive conversations with engineering leaders about scope, trade-offs, and timelines.
  • Strategic curiosity, composure under pressure, comfort with ambiguity, high EQ, and an outcomes-focused mindset.
