Description

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts within the territory as the primary point of contact in partnership with the Business Development Manager.
  • Execute structured account touch plans through email, calls, LinkedIn, and events to build relationships and maintain awareness.
  • Qualify inbound leads, follow up on marketing campaigns, and book discovery meetings to support pipeline creation.
  • Participate in discovery and technical scoping calls to capture customer requirements and document next steps.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, pre-sales, and marketing teams to prepare presentations, proposals, and RFP responses.
  • Track account activity, contacts, opportunities, and tasks in CRM with strong data quality and discipline.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction on active projects, identify issues early, and route them to the appropriate internal owner.
  • Identify expansion opportunities such as new projects, new business units, and cross-sell opportunities and bring them to the BDM.
  • Contribute to account plans, account mapping, territory reviews, and simple revenue and activity reporting.
  • Continuously build knowledge of Fidus services, target industries, and the competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account coordination, inside sales, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in technology, engineering services, or electronics is preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable engaging engineers, procurement professionals, and management stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting notes and follow-up emails.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable using CRM and productivity tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Excel, PowerPoint, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Interest in learning complex technical concepts related to engineering design services.
