Description

  • Design and implement lifecycle programs for onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and advocacy across Groups, Spaces, and Partner Hub.
  • Create data-informed customer journeys that move users from signup to power-user adoption.
  • Build and run experimentation frameworks to test messaging, timing, channel mix, and segmentation.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Leads to incorporate customer feedback and usage data into roadmaps.
  • Own product outcome metrics jointly with Product and influence cross-product strategy.
  • Build and manage campaigns in Customer.io, including audience segmentation and tracking.
  • Analyze cohort behavior and funnel drop-off to identify opportunities to improve activation, adoption, and retention.
  • Write compelling email and in-product messaging that drives user action.
  • Determine the right channel strategy across email, SMS, push, in-app, and other surfaces.
  • Develop cross-sell journeys that introduce users to additional Engine products when there is clear user value.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing roles.
  • Proven success driving product adoption and retention metrics.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work directly in data, not through analysts.
  • Experience using Looker, Snowflake, or similar tools.
  • Comfort with SQL for audience segmentation and analysis.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills for emails, in-product messages, and user-facing content.
  • Experience working closely with Product teams and influencing roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience with Customer.io or similar platforms such as Iterable or Braze.
  • Experience with Salesforce and analytics tools.
  • Track record of building and running structured A/B tests and iterating based on results.
  • Deep understanding of user intent and behavior to design helpful, non-interruptive journeys.
  • Preferred: B2B SaaS or marketplace experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with early-stage or 0-1 product launches.
  • Preferred: Background in travel, fintech, or marketplaces.
  • Preferred: SQL proficiency for custom audience building.

  • Base salary range of $140,000 to $180,000 USD.
