Description

  • Own the full post-enrollment lifecycle from onboarding through churn prevention, winback, and monetization.
  • Develop and optimize lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, and customer education.
  • Build, manage, and troubleshoot automated flows in Customer.io and related tools.
  • Create customer-facing copy, educational content, and triggered journeys based on behavior and real-time data.
  • Own deliverability, including sender reputation, IP warming, domain health, list hygiene, bounce rates, and spam compliance.
  • Launch and scale winback campaigns for a large former-customer database.
  • Rebuild and manage the third-party offer monetization program.
  • Own lifecycle marketing for the new CARE subscription product.
  • Define lifecycle KPIs and build recurring reporting with BI and analytics teams.
  • Analyze cohort performance, identify intervention points, and influence product, pricing, and customer service decisions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, or CRM marketing in B2C subscription businesses.
  • Proven experience managing high-volume email and SMS programs with 5M–10M+ sends per month.
  • Hands-on experience with ESPs such as Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or Klaviyo.
  • Experience owning lifecycle marketing as a single operator, not only as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to pull and act on your own data.
  • Demonstrated success reducing early-stage churn in the first 90–120 days.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, health, telecom, or similar industries is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with event-triggered messaging, not just time-based drip campaigns, is strongly preferred.
  • Winback or reactivation experience with large datasets of 100K+ users is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing ability, or effective use of AI tools for content creation, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Customer.io, Volt, ThoughtSpot, Snowflake, VWO, WordPress, N8N, and real-time data platforms is relevant to the role.

  • Base salary of $110,000–$135,000 per year.
  • 10% performance-based bonus.
