Description

  • Build and manage prospect lists of Australian SME owners using Apollo and enroll prospects into multi-step outreach sequences.
  • Make outbound calls through the cloud-based calling system during Australian business hours and follow a structured call framework.
  • Qualify business owners, founders, managing directors, partners, and CEOs on company size, role, and succession-related priorities.
  • Book 20–30 minute qualified meetings directly into the Account Manager’s calendar and confirm the meeting details.
  • Leave professional voicemails and accurately log call outcomes in the CRM or prospecting tools.
  • Maintain detailed notes in Apollo, including company background, key pains, priorities, and useful quotes for the Account Manager.
  • Track engagement metrics such as opens, replies, meetings, and outreach activity across email, LinkedIn, and calls.
  • Share frontline feedback on common objections, questions, and patterns by industry or company size.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in outbound SDR, BDR, telesales, or call centre roles, preferably in B2B.
  • Strong spoken and written English with a clear, confident, and easy-to-understand communication style.
  • Comfort making cold calls to senior business owners and decision-makers.
  • Ability to follow a structured playbook while also thinking on your feet.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to take notes while speaking.
  • Comfortable working remotely, self-managing time, and keeping the CRM updated.
  • Willingness to work Australian calling hours from South Africa.
  • Experience calling into Australia, the UK, or other English-speaking markets.
  • Experience with sales engagement tools such as Apollo, HubSpot, Salesloft, or Outreach.
  • Experience with cloud-based calling systems or VoIP diallers.
  • Exposure to professional services such as accounting, consulting, agencies, or IT services is preferred.
  • Interest in business, finance, or entrepreneurship.
  • Resilient and comfortable handling rejection.
