Description

  • Build and operationalize the go-to-market strategy by defining ideal customer profiles, territories, sales processes, forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM best practices.
  • Create a seamless customer journey by aligning Sales and Customer Success from handoff through onboarding, adoption, and expansion.
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles over $1M and close lighthouse customers with C-level stakeholders.
  • Gather and communicate voice-of-customer, market, and prospect insights to influence product roadmap, pricing, and positioning.
  • Drive annual sales planning, near-term priorities, and revenue objectives in partnership with the CEO and COO.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a small team of Account Executives and Customer Success Managers.
  • Act as a player-coach by leading from the front while fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Maintain forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene, and sales discipline using Salesforce and related tools.
  • Oversee strategic account planning, uncover expansion opportunities, and execute growth plans across key accounts.
  • Build executive-level customer relationships, influence negotiations, and align cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience managing and developing sellers, including building enterprise sales in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Proven success closing $1M+ enterprise SaaS or technology deals with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong sales architecture experience in process design, forecasting, compensation plans, hiring, and playbook development.
  • Experience owning retention and expansion metrics alongside new business goals.
  • Ability to thrive in scrappy, fast-paced, high-growth environments and operate both strategically and hands-on.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with curiosity to explore new markets and turn insights into scalable go-to-market strategies.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for the role, with travel potentially increasing to 50% as the business scales.
  • Experience with first-line sales management is preferred.
  • Experience using Salesforce and other sales tools is preferred.
