Description

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to strategic customers throughout data and AI transformation engagements.
  • Guide customers in solving complex big data challenges using the Databricks platform.
  • Create solution designs for customer data architecture and analytics needs.
  • Lead and support large technical delivery teams on complex programs.
  • Work with partner organizations to deliver customer engagements successfully.
  • Collaborate in customer-facing, post-sales, technical architecture, and consulting contexts.
  • Support migration initiatives from on-premises or cloud environments to Databricks.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly through client consulting, documentation, and whiteboarding.
  • Engage in onsite customer work and travel within India as needed.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, and data lakes in a customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect creating designs and solving big data challenges for customers.
  • Expertise in Apache Spark, distributed computing, and Databricks platform capabilities.
  • Strong programming ability in Python, PySpark, and Scala.
  • Exceptional SQL, Spark SQL, and Spark streaming skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Spark optimizations, Delta, and Databricks Lakehouse Platform.
  • Expertise in Azure.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, and HBase.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security concepts, including Unity Catalog and RBAC.
  • Understanding of the broader competitive landscape, including EMR, Snowflake, and Sagemaker.
  • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises or cloud environments to Databricks is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing consulting skills.
  • Documentation and whiteboarding skills.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite customer engagements within India.
  • Experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools and processes, including MLflow for tracking and deployment, is preferred.
  • Experience delivering LLM and GenAI solutions at scale, including RAG architectures and prompt engineering, is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Hadoop, Trino, Ranger, and other open-source technologies is preferred.
  • Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP is preferred.
