Description

  • Own architecture and lead design decisions for customer solutions.
  • Design and develop full-stack applications, including backend, frontend, and integrations.
  • Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion and transformation through ML/AI integration to user-facing applications.
  • Embed with customer teams to understand technical and business challenges and drive impact.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Field Engineering across the customer lifecycle from pre-sales through post-deployment.
  • Contribute accelerators, frameworks, and best practices that can be reused across accounts.
  • Help influence the Databricks product roadmap through customer solution learnings.
  • Work directly with stakeholders ranging from technical individual contributors to executives.
  • Implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

Requirements

  • Strong background in software engineering with experience across backend, frontend, and systems integration.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, Java/Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Experience designing, building, and deploying production applications that combine data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user-facing interfaces.
  • Familiarity integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini into applications.
  • Experience leveraging AI code generation tools to improve productivity.
  • Proven track record delivering technical solutions in enterprise environments with measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from engineers to C-level executives.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn new technologies, domains, and customer challenges.
