Description

  • Create technical content and presentations across speaking engagements, videos, blog posts, livestreams, sample code, and related formats.
  • Fill gaps in the product’s video content by producing helpful video materials.
  • Build and maintain relationships with global and regional developer communities and across social media.
  • Collaborate with product teams by sharing feedback from the market, customers, and community.
  • Meet with customers to listen to their needs and educate them about JetBrains offerings.
  • Speak with press and media on behalf of the product offerings.
  • Advise product teams on industry trends and developer feedback.
  • Contribute to other JetBrains initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with software engineering best practices, including testing, refactoring, version control, logging, tracing, and debugging.
  • Experience with C/C++ and its ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded development and interest in engaging with that community.
  • Passion for applying AI-enabled styles of software development.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling technology story.
  • Self-organizing skills, goal-setting ability, and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Portfolio of speaking recordings and screencasts preferred for application.
  • Experience with JetBrains tools preferred.
  • Experience in developer advocacy preferred.
  • Established reputation in a development community preferred.
  • Proficiency or experience with additional languages such as Rust, Python, Java, or Kotlin preferred.
  • Experience working with highly distributed, diverse teams preferred.

  • Base salary range of $144,000 to $255,000 USD per year.
