Description

  • Develop features from proposal through production for enterprise-scale and regulated environments.
  • Build secure code meeting FedRAMP and GovRAMP requirements, including audit logging, RBAC, and encryption.
  • Review and manage team contributions to maintain secure, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Partner with DevOps and GRC teams to deploy features through Bitbucket Pipelines, Helm, and ArgoCD.
  • Improve software and development processes by addressing technical pain points.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to operate and support products across commercial and GovCloud environments.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of Python experience, including REST API development with Django and Django REST Framework.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. citizenship, eligibility for security clearances, and ability to meet U.S. government and enterprise security standards.
  • Experience designing scalable microservices, applying OOP, MVC, and design patterns, and building products from scratch.
  • Experience with Generative AI integrations, REST/gRPC LLM services, AI agents, and RAG pipelines.
  • Hands-on AWS and AWS GovCloud experience, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and multi-tenant architectures.
  • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, PIV/CAC, FICAM, RBAC, OWASP, secrets management, and FedRAMP/GovRAMP controls.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis or Memcached, and RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, test automation, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and source control.
  • Go experience, Elasticsearch expertise, event-driven programming, scheduling frameworks, and regulated product development are preferred.
