Description

  • Design and implement systems for package creation, test generation, and image building.
  • Develop LLM-integrated, agentic pipelines for manifest generation, test scaffolding, and validation.
  • Build production Go CLI tools, services, and integrations.
  • Create test generators, validation frameworks, and quality gates that improve reliability.
  • Contribute technical ideas and input to the squad roadmap.
  • Collaborate with distributed teammates across the US, Canada, Europe, and India.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems.
  • Strong Go programming skills.
  • Experience using AI/LLMs to generate, review, and test code.
  • Systems design experience with loosely coupled, scalable systems and pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Experience building developer tools, CLIs, or automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of Docker, OCI, container registries, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously across time zones.
  • Based in the United States or Canada.
  • Experience with Linux distributions such as Wolfi, Red Hat, or Ubuntu is preferred.
  • Experience maintaining many production services, contributing to open source, or working with software supply chain security is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SBOMs, provenance, signing, melange, apko, Wolfi, or compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FIPS, or STIG is preferred.

  • Base salary of $121,000–$142,000 USD.
