Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for e-commerce and Shopify merchants, including prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, and close.
  • Build pipeline from scratch through outbound, inbound, events, and ecosystem partnerships such as agencies, 3PLs, and app partners.
  • Hit and beat aggressive new-revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting.
  • Create the sales playbook, process, and CRM discipline in HubSpot to make the motion repeatable.
  • Partner with Partnerships, Customer Success, Product, and engineering/data teams to win and onboard accounts.
  • Bring market feedback and merchant needs back to Product to inform roadmap decisions and iteration.
  • Help stand up the US sales function and establish the foundation for the next AEs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support customer onboarding and account success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing, quota-carrying sales experience in e-commerce and the Shopify ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge of Shopify and the broader e-commerce ecosystem, including apps, agencies, 3PLs, and the post-purchase landscape.
  • Strong hunter mindset with ambition, self-drive, and resilience under pressure.
  • High-goal orientation and a strong bias to action.
  • Structured thinking and the ability to build systems, documentation, and repeatable sales motions.
  • Documented track record of quota attainment and personally sourced and closed deals.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in post-purchase, retention, shipping, or logistics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with carriers, 3PLs, or fulfillment is preferred.
  • Experience working with HubSpot is a plus.
