Description

  • Define and execute the sales strategy for key markets including hyperscale, colocation, cloud, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with target accounts, including end clients, data center operators, MEP consultants, general contractors, and electrical contractors.
  • Work with engineering and product teams to position custom power distribution solutions.
  • Track and report on KPIs, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy using CRM tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with operations, supply chain, marketing, and finance to align commercial goals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
  • Support the VP of Sales with reporting, strategy input, and market feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of successful B2B sales experience in the electrical, power distribution, or data center sectors.
  • Proven track record of closing large deals with hyperscale, colocation, or cloud infrastructure clients.
  • Strong understanding of mission-critical environments and power distribution equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally up to 50% of the time.
  • Experience selling PDUs, RPPs, UL891 switchboards, and other power distribution equipment is preferred.
  • Established network within the data center industry, including hyperscalers, colos, cloud providers, EORS, GCS, and ECs, is preferred.
  • Technical acumen and ability to engage in solution-based selling with engineering teams is preferred.
