Description

  • Create, implement, measure, and review strategic and operational plans that support business goals aligned to Ping Identity’s strategy.
  • Use territory planning, account plans, opportunity inspection, pipeline management, account reviews, and forecast calls to manage sales execution.
  • Coach and advise the sales team on positioning Ping Identity’s value proposition for enterprise customers to increase average deal size.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business within the area of responsibility.
  • Leverage GSIs and other partners to source, develop, and advance business opportunities.
  • Manage expenses associated with the area of responsibility and ensure effective use of standard business practices and tools such as Salesforce.
  • Communicate Ping Identity’s vision and align team and individual goals to business results.
  • Provide direction, mentoring, and development for the field team.
  • Recruit, build, and develop the team, including identifying and promoting high-potential employees.
  • Build customer relationships, manage escalations, and drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Expertise in enterprise software, SaaS, managed services, and strategic account management.
  • Travel is required.
  • Experience transitioning a team from on-premises solutions to SaaS solutions.
  • Multiple years of experience meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experience working in a fast-growing global organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across the organization.
  • Established multi-vertical C-level contacts in large enterprise customers.
  • Established partner and SI network with experience working on projects with partners.
