Description

  • Lead and manage the regional Coupa Sales team, including sales processes, best practices, and training.
  • Deliver weekly sales updates and maintain accurate Salesforce records.
  • Develop targeted sales plans for accounts, sub-regions, and verticals.
  • Present executive sales proposals to C-level prospects that communicate Coupa’s strategic value proposition.
  • Use the Challenger Sale model to support deal closing and deepen penetration in key accounts.
  • Create localized content and competitive messaging to strengthen regional sales efforts.
  • Co-sell with in-country Alliance Partners and support field sales training, certification, and onboarding.
  • Recruit and manage top sales talent in the region while helping the team meet direct sales targets.
  • Coach sales team members and customers on pursuing high-value business opportunities.
  • Collaborate across functions and regions to support regional growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong and proven experience selling complex cloud/SaaS software.
  • 5-10 years of sales management and individual contributor experience.
  • At least 3 years at the same company, supported by references.
  • Ability to meet direct sales targets while recruiting and managing a regional team.
  • Experience identifying strategic customer pain points and creating compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate across functions, regions, and time zones.
  • Comfort working with modern tools and technology.
  • Customer-success-focused mindset with the ability to coach sales talent and customers.
  • Confidence engaging with all organizational levels, including C-level executives.
  • Experience with the Challenger Sale model is preferred.
