Description

  • Lead strategic development and execution of Cologix’s sales presence within the hyperscale and global strategic account community.
  • Prospect, identify, penetrate, and close target accounts to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Carry an individual quota and retire it monthly through new business closed.
  • Build account plans and marketing plans for hyperscale customers and prospects.
  • Manage revenue forecasting, opportunity tracking, and funnel discipline for existing and prospective accounts.
  • Leverage partnerships, indirect channels, referrals, and carrier relationships to expand sales opportunities.
  • Participate in trade shows and hyperscale-focused networking events to support business development.
  • Document and maintain customer contact plans, contract progress, and revenue opportunity status.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, market pricing, and sales strategy.
  • Build relationships with management-level contacts within hyperscale accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in hyperscale built-to-suit data center, powered shell, or pre-lease data center space.
  • Prior hyperscale account management experience in the data center vertical.
  • Demonstrated understanding of high-density data center solutions, data center infrastructure, networking, and cloud/HyperScaler connectivity.
  • Proven track record of building business strategy, enabling partners, and using measurable metrics to deliver on hyperscale and global customer strategies.
  • Successful business development and sales experience with hyperscale providers.
  • Disciplined use of a CRM for forecasting and sales activity tracking.
  • Strong consultative communication skills, including excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
  • Organized, competitive, and able to manage high-level activity independently.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship or transfer of employment visa is not available, including CPT/OPT.
