Description

  • Gain deep knowledge of Clover Health operations, including contracts, claims processing, payments, payment integrity audits, configuration, and grievances.
  • Serve as the main contact for high-priority providers and maintain ongoing external relationships.
  • Lead external meetings and support provider communications.
  • Manage internal projects that improve provider experience, including education on best practices and new policies.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated provider issues and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal and external teams to research and resolve provider escalations.
  • Use root cause analysis to identify and help reduce provider abrasion.
  • Complete data entry, report generation, and provider claims analysis accurately.
  • Maintain the Provider Claims Escalation spreadsheet and support hospital system escalations.
  • Occasionally travel for onsite meetings, provider visits, company events, and training opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in health insurance or medical offices.
  • Based in the Central or Eastern time zone of the United States.
  • Experience with healthcare operations and provider-facing issue resolution.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formatting, formulas, and VLOOKUPs.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, JIRA, Mode, Google Suite, Engagement Plus, SDS, iNetwork, Optum Pay Financial, or Health Rules Payor.
  • Coding knowledge or Certified Professional Coder certification preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving healthcare environment.
