Description

  • Gain a deep understanding of the higher education procurement process, institutional priorities, and Civitas Learning’s solution.
  • Operate as the CEO of your territory and work with the Head of Sales to exceed revenue targets.
  • Build long-lasting, trusted relationships with prospects and position Civitas Learning as a strategic partner.
  • Coordinate externally with customers and internally with cross-functional teams to advance deals.
  • Consistently build, manage, and maintain an effective sales pipeline.
  • Communicate proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the sales process.
  • Gain commitment and move opportunities forward through the sales cycle.
  • Work with speed, efficiency, and precision in day-to-day sales execution.
  • Participate in team-building and training to sharpen problem-solving and challenger-selling skills.
  • Collaborate with the customer development team to ensure a smooth handoff of partnership opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in enterprise software sales.
  • Previous closing experience is preferred.
  • Experience in education technology is a plus.
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present effectively to stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of success in previous sales roles.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with Outreach, Salesforce, and other sales tools is a bonus.
