Description

  • Conduct data discovery with business areas to identify pain points, needs, and opportunities.
  • Interview and meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Map and document business processes and area objectives, translating them into technical requirements.
  • Create and manage the data product backlog for the technical team.
  • Translate unstructured business needs into business questions, tables, and technical specifications.
  • Act as the communication bridge between technical and business teams.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure deliveries align with business needs.
  • Design and validate data visualizations, dashboards, reports, and other analytical products.
  • Perform hands-on dashboard and report development when needed.
  • Support the cultural shift from spreadsheet-based work to data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and business requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and exploration.
  • Experience with ERPs, preferably SAP.
  • Ability to perform data discovery and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Data literacy and the ability to communicate insights clearly and understandably.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across business, data, and infrastructure areas.
  • Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.
  • Experience with digital transformation and data culture change is a plus.
  • Experience in agribusiness or sustainability is a plus.
