Description

  • Support internal audit projects and investigations with data analysis and insights to improve sampling and audit findings.
  • Automate repetitive audit processes using data analysis and scripting techniques.
  • Support the Chief Audit Officer and Directors in developing audit plans, procedures, and programs to assess internal controls.
  • Contribute to the enterprise risk assessment process by providing data-driven insights.
  • Monitor and validate regulatory compliance requirements and accounting practices, including revenue assurance, cost optimization, treasury, financial reporting, and tax auditing.
  • Perform audit reviews, prepare audit reports, and ensure evidence and working papers are properly collated and stored.
  • Help achieve the annual goals and performance indicators of the Internal Audit Division.
  • Develop, coach, and supervise Audit Associates to build audit capability and best-practice execution.
  • Represent Internal Audit in meetings with other business divisions and external stakeholders when required.
  • Perform ad hoc duties assigned by the Chief Audit Officer and Directors.

Requirements

  • Strong practical knowledge of data analysis tools, preferably SQL.
  • Practical experience in revenue assurance.
  • Basic knowledge of risk management procedures, internal audit processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical ability and a driven, self-motivated work style.
  • Experience leading teams or team members.
  • Experience providing data insights to senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong turnaround time.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
  • Leadership experience is required.
  • 7+ years of progressive data analysis and leadership experience in financial services or a consulting firm.
  • Experience with SQL database scripting and visualization tools such as IDEA, Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau is preferred.
