Description

  • Coordinate with community managers to schedule meetings with association boards.
  • Attend board meetings to present the company’s services and vendor proposals.
  • Identify opportunities and track vendor contract renewals in coordination with the Contract Management team.
  • Use the established sales methodology and process to close opportunities and report on the sales pipeline.
  • Prepare documents in advance of meetings with association boards in partnership with the administrative support team.
  • Manage the renewal process for the company’s agency agreements with management company clients.
  • Travel regularly to meetings and additional markets as needed, including evening and occasional overnight trips.
  • Work independently from a home office while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Must live within 50 miles of Louisville or Lexington, KY.
  • Must also be within 50 miles of a major airport.
  • Ability to travel 15-25% of the time, with occasional trips up to 200 miles from the home market.
  • Must have a dedicated home workspace free from distractions and background noise.
  • Prior success selling services and/or contracts to groups within a one- to three-month sales cycle.
  • Experience closing sales in one or two meetings with multiple decision makers.
  • Ability to sell against incumbent vendors and against no-decision prospects.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a large sales pipeline and adapt processes and materials as needed.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus, though not required.
  • College degree is preferred, though not required.
  • Experience in multifamily, real estate development, telecommunications, construction, property management, contract negotiation, professional services, or consultative selling is a plus, though not required.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $55,000 to $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
