Description

  • Own day-to-day HR operations for Mexico, including onboarding, offboarding, contract management, and employee records maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican employment laws and statutory requirements, including LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, Prima Vacacional, and Aguinaldo.
  • Support HR administration, payroll coordination, and mandatory contributions with internal and external partners.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate HR documentation, reports, and records.
  • Respond to employee questions about HR policies, contracts, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the Employer of Record (EOR) provider and manage EOR-related processes and communications.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS and coordinate compliance updates and lifecycle events with the EOR.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Mexico-based roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer close.
  • Build and maintain a local talent pipeline aligned with business growth plans.
  • Collaborate with global HR leadership to align regional practices with global people strategy and support rollout of HR programs and policies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows and employee experience, and manage assigned HR projects end to end.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in a multinational or global environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment in Mexico.
  • Hands-on experience working with an Employer of Record (EOR).
  • In-depth knowledge of Mexican employment law, LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally with remote teams.
  • Process-oriented mindset with experience developing or improving HR workflows.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, or similar.
  • Occasional travel for in-person collaboration, meetings, and trainings may be required.
  • Experience with DEEL EOR is preferred.
  • Experience with HiBob HRIS is preferred.
  • Experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
