Description

  • Develop and implement a global Total Rewards strategy covering compensation, benefits and mobility across all employee groups.
  • Design and continuously improve scalable frameworks, systems and processes for compensation, benefits and global mobility.
  • Lead the implementation and optimization of short-term incentive plans and other variable compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with compensation laws and regulations, including EU Pay Transparency requirements, and drive related reporting and measures.
  • Develop and maintain the job architecture and grading framework to support transparent, scalable career structures.
  • Own grading governance and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • Prepare data-driven analyses, business cases, executive presentations and decision papers for HR leadership and senior management.
  • Advise HR Business Partners, people leaders and senior stakeholders on compensation, benefits and reward topics.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmark data to keep the reward offering competitive and aligned to business needs.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal and external partners to improve the Total Rewards landscape.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in an international Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or Reward role.
  • Strong understanding of compensation regulations and compliance requirements, including EU Pay Transparency legislation and works council processes.
  • Extensive experience with job grading methodologies and job architecture frameworks, ideally Mercer or a comparable system.
  • Experience supporting both blue-collar and white-collar employee populations.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset and ability to turn concepts into practical solutions.
  • Comfort working with complex data, analyses and executive-level decision making.
  • Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and communicate confidently with senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and drive initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Experience in an international company context (preferred).
