Description

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Insight Service Provider partners and proactively build partner relationships.
  • Conduct outbound partner engagement, relationship management, and recurring business reviews.
  • Coordinate partner onboarding, enablement activities, and partner account planning.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop VMware displacement opportunities through partner outreach.
  • Generate new sales pipeline and re-engage dormant opportunities.
  • Advance opportunities from discovery through Technical Decision Points and manage opportunity registration.
  • Update Salesforce opportunities, maintain CRM records, and support forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Promote virtualization and cloud platform solutions, including OpenShift Virtualization migration assessments, technical workshops, and proof-of-concept progression.
  • Support quarterly business reviews, prepare executive reports, and track partner activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Partner Account Management, Channel Sales, or Business Development.
  • Experience supporting technology partners, distributors, or service providers.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with Red Hat, VMware, virtualization, hybrid cloud, or enterprise infrastructure solutions (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, or Kubernetes platforms (preferred).
  • Experience with distribution partners such as Insight, TD SYNNEX, Arrow, or Ingram Micro (preferred).
  • Understanding of cloud migration strategies and virtualization modernization (preferred).
  • Experience supporting partner enablement and channel marketing programs (preferred).
