Description

  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
  • Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and market trends to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess client satisfaction, identify improvements, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Solution Consulting, and Product teams to meet client needs.
  • Identify and pursue upselling, cross-selling, and new logo opportunities, including cloud solution migrations.
  • Monitor client performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to internal teams.
  • Track and report on account metrics such as activity, revenue growth, retention, and satisfaction to senior management.
  • Coordinate pilot evaluations, project implementations, and service delivery with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to strengthen client relationships and generate new business leads.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an account manager selling SaaS products to the U.S. public accounting industry, or 3+ years of experience in assurance services in an audit or national office/innovation role at a large accounting firm.
  • Ability to query and use sources such as HubSpot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator to identify opportunities.
  • Self-discipline, a strong GSD mentality, and a desire to succeed.
  • Proven record of consistent goal achievement.
  • Foundational understanding of technology sales, forecasting, and lead development processes.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting and financial processes and technologies.
  • Experience or understanding of sales, campaign, and marketing automation solutions.
  • Prior experience in inside sales, account management, client success, or client services.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of daily tasks and leads.
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent discovery, listening, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience mapping customer requirements, needs, and goals to solution capabilities, benefits, and outcomes.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, business management, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Prior work in the audit and accounting technology industry is a plus.
