Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of existing customers by identifying expansion opportunities across payments, AR automation, collaboration, and cash application solutions.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to develop account strategies and execute strategic plans that drive customer outcomes and revenue growth.
  • Engage finance, accounting, and IT leaders to understand priorities, challenges, and transformation goals.
  • Lead the commercial motion within assigned accounts, including opportunity qualification, value articulation, proposal development, and commercial negotiation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related activities during the expansion cycle.
  • Track, manage, and forecast pipeline activity while providing updates to management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Implementation to support opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by teaching best practices, uncovering inefficiencies, and recommending tailored solutions that improve efficiency and cash flow.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with bonus points for experience in a tech startup selling into finance and exposure to accounting.
  • Experience managing and growing existing accounts with a strong focus on relationship building and client retention.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions.
  • Ability to close mid-market deals without executive sponsorship.
  • Strong track record of exceeding sales quotas and closing deals with an average selling price of $50K+.
  • Competitive, self-directed approach to developing business opportunities from prospecting through final sale.
  • Ability to sell both the emotional and rational value of digital transformation to technical users, buyers, and economic buyers.
  • Challenger-style selling approach with the ability to lead with commercial insight and control the sales process.
  • Well organized, process-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces while maintaining strong pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting.
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales engagement platforms such as Salesloft, Outreach, or HVS.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000 to $100,000 CAD per year.
  • On-target earnings of approximately $150,000 to $165,000 CAD.
  • Remote work arrangement.
