Description

  • Shape product direction by clarifying the market problem, target audience, differentiated value, and timing in partnership with Product Leadership.
  • Define early positioning and narrative for new products, including AI capabilities, and translate technical concepts into customer value.
  • Create alignment through strategic artifacts such as PR FAQs, narrative briefs, and executive decision memos.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for major product bets from launch through adoption and iteration.
  • Own the strategy for new product discovery across in-product surfaces, lifecycle, web, and enablement channels.
  • Partner with Growth and Product teams to improve discovery and adoption through testing, iteration, and performance reviews.
  • Use research, product metrics dashboards, and customer feedback to inform strategy, performance, and course corrections.
  • Build core product marketing assets such as messaging, one-pagers, internal FAQs, and high-level roadmaps.
  • Facilitate executive reviews, present recommendations, incorporate feedback, and drive fast decisions.
  • Mentor other PMMs and help improve product marketing frameworks, storytelling, and executive communication.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS, with PLG or hybrid GTM preferred.
  • Proven experience leading major launches and driving product discovery and adoption.
  • Experience partnering strategically with Product Leadership and C-suite stakeholders to influence roadmaps and positioning.
  • Strong critical thinking and judgment with the ability to identify strategic tradeoffs and second-order impacts.
  • AI-native mindset with comfort using AI tools to scale analysis, content creation, and GTM workflows.
  • Deep customer-obsessed, insight-driven approach using research, interviews, win/loss, and competitive intelligence.
  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguity, pressure-test assumptions, and make well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Executive-ready communication skills and comfort leading healthy debate, handling feedback, and making decisions under uncertainty.
  • Bonus: experience marketing to both self-serve and enterprise customers, using Miro, Asana, G-Suite, User Interviews, and product analytics tools, working with PLG tactics and lifecycle marketing, positioning AI-powered products, and shaping early product narrative through PR FAQs or equivalent.
