Description

  • Nurture, maintain, and cultivate relationships with prospective, inactive, current, and transactional client accounts.
  • Make 50-75 daily calls to prospective clients and manage continued outreach to onboard new clients.
  • Contact prospects through telephone, email, and social media to present Business Wire as a resource and expert.
  • Field incoming emails and phone calls about pricing, billing, product information, and related questions.
  • Research prospects, identify stakeholders, and build rapport to generate interest.
  • Manage outbound prospecting for marketing qualified leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Communicate Business Wire’s value proposition and ROI to prospects and buyers.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, meetings, opportunities, emails, and outreach in Salesforce CRM.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve shared results.
  • Handle objections, manage expectations, and satisfy multiple buyers and influencers within an organization.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships across all organizational levels, including executive and C-level.
  • B2B prospecting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
  • Resilience, perseverance, and the ability to overcome objections.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and ambitious with the ability to consistently hit daily and monthly objectives.
  • Understanding of investor relations, financial reporting, public relations, marketing, and corporate communications is preferred.
  • BA/BS degree or international equivalent is preferred.
  • 3 years of sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com and HubSpot is preferred.
