Description

  • Hire, lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3-7 sales professionals.
  • Personally originate, submit, and fund business-purpose loans to meet monthly production goals.
  • Lead the sales team to source business from real estate investors, TPO brokers, and referral partners.
  • Maintain and grow existing business relationships while expanding new partnerships.
  • Oversee internal sales execution, including originating loans, setting expectations, negotiating, and coordinating with operations to close loans on time.
  • Ensure loan applications are complete, accurate, and aligned with program requirements and internal policies.
  • Educate business partners, brokers, investors, and referral sources on the company’s value proposition and financing solutions.
  • Build and manage a loan pipeline with strong closing conversion ratios.
  • Prospect through webinars, meetups, seminars, networking events, and other business development activities.
  • Stay current on legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology changes affecting the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of proven mortgage sales experience with a verifiable customer base.
  • Experience with forward mortgages, fix-and-flip, bridge, new construction, and/or DSCR rental loans.
  • In-depth knowledge of entity lending, business-purpose loan products, loan processes, and required documentation.
  • National or regional sales management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Existing book of business or a strong network of real estate investors, mortgage brokers, or referral partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to source and develop new business creatively.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • NMLS license preferred; may be required based on state and product requirements.
  • Comfort working with new technology systems and in a paperless environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and provide exceptional customer service.
