Description

  • Grow and retain the existing customer base within key Sports and Entertainment seller relationships.
  • Collaborate with a Senior Account Manager and Account Executives to develop growth and retention strategies.
  • Understand customer needs and help merchants achieve their business goals through Square.
  • Cross-sell and upsell products and features by identifying customer leads and opportunities.
  • Address customer concerns and issues in a timely and strategic manner.
  • Work closely with Sales, Support, and Product teams to deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Help close operational gaps needed to effectively manage seller relationships.
  • Support account management peers by owning a product specialization and sharing feedback with Product Managers.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Square adoption within existing corporate relationships and uncover new seller accounts.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management, or a related field.
  • Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Experience managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets.
  • Strong interest in business operations and strategy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for how new technologies can better serve small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and providing feedback on evolving processes.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Experience in Sports and Entertainment operations or technology deployments is a plus.
  • BA/BS degree or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Revenue.IO, Google Suite, Snowflake/Looker, and AI tools is used or taught.
