Description

  • Develop and execute an outbound sales strategy to build a book of business for restaurant merchants.
  • Source leads through cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and other prospecting activities.
  • Conduct discovery calls and demos to understand merchant needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Sell Square’s ecosystem and partner offerings to prospective merchants using a consultative approach.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to convert and close cold outbound leads.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and coordinate successful onboarding with other teams.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and, when needed, work in the field to improve win rates.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound selling.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align solutions with market needs.
  • Use Salesforce to track activity, pipeline status, and sales outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role.
  • Experience sourcing and acquiring new logos through business development.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products or solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and drive deals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent CRM experience.
  • Restaurant vertical experience is implied as the role focuses on restaurant owners, especially small and mid-sized businesses.
