Description

  • Execute an automation-first QA strategy using Cypress for end-to-end UI, API, performance, accessibility, regression, and smoke testing.
  • Integrate Cypress test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker.
  • Implement quality initiatives across multiple Scrum teams with a focus on defect prevention and release confidence.
  • Perform manual testing activities including exploratory testing, regression validation, and UAT.
  • Ensure applications meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements using tools such as Axe and Lighthouse.
  • Act as a quality advocate during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness activities.
  • Communicate quality risks, testing trends, and release readiness clearly to stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product, UX, and program leadership to embed quality practices across the team.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Green Card is required; sponsorship is not offered.
  • Must have lived in the US for at least the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to meet requirements for a Public Trust position, including a US government background investigation.
  • Experience with Cypress as the primary automation framework.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript / TypeScript and Java.
  • Experience with Jenkins and Docker for CI/CD integration.
  • Experience testing APIs, performance, and accessibility.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum development practices.
  • Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or REST Assured is preferred.
  • Understanding of FHIR and/or experience in federal government or regulated environments is preferred.
