Description

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and negotiation of new business growth opportunities in the live entertainment sector.
  • Develop and expand a client pipeline within festival and fair categories, while pursuing opportunities across clubs, theaters, casinos, and arenas.
  • Create and implement growth strategies for the music vertical through lead generation and relationship building.
  • Manage financial deal models, proposals, and contract negotiations for new partnerships and renewals.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by identifying and advancing high-potential opportunities within assigned verticals.
  • Maintain accurate CRM opportunity and pipeline records to support data integrity and process optimization.
  • Represent AXS at industry events and tradeshows and facilitate strategic meetings with external partners and prospects.
  • Cultivate partner relationships and coordinate pitch meetings that support business development.
  • Support business development leadership with strategic projects and ad hoc initiatives.
  • Work with the business development review board and festival/greenfield teams to refine revenue growth processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in business development and ticketing or live entertainment.
  • Experience identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and negotiating creative solutions.
  • Experience negotiating and executing contracts.
  • Experience evolving sales tools, presentations, and messaging to align with market trends.
  • Experience representing a company at industry events and tradeshows and generating leads through networking.
  • Proven understanding of the sales cycle and the needs of a sales organization.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Slack, G-Suite, Notion, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams and at all levels of an organization, including leadership.
  • No work visa sponsorship is offered for this position.

  • Competitive base pay of $194,500 - $99,000.
